THERAPY for WOMEN AND MOTHERS
Are you struggling with some aspect of your motherhood identity? Are you a new mom who is having a hard time with changes in expectations and routines? Perhaps you’re a woman who is dealing with anxiety and feel there are too many barriers to finding and maintaining peace. Therapy can help you to work through those challenges and more.
During our sessions we will explore aspects of your past, present, and future and work together to tackle the challenges. We may use different therapeutic modalities depending on the need, and this may change throughout the course of therapy. Our time together is tailored specifically to you, therefore, it won’t look the same for someone else.

The first few sessions
During the first session we will discuss what brought you to therapy and I’ll ask some questions that help me get to know you a little better. We will also review some important aspects of the therapy process and do a little housekeeping. The first couple of sessions are a time for getting to know each other. It’s an opportunity for me to learn about you and for you to learn about me and my working style. As our sessions continue, we will work together to develop skills that support your life.
