Online counseling in NJ & PA

For Catholic women embracing the journey of motherhood.

Maybe you’re a new mom who is struggling with coming into the identity of “mother”.

Women have many gifts and talents. We are nurturers and givers which enables us to love so fully and deeply but sometimes to a point where we may feel as if we are losing ourselves. Maybe you struggle with depression or anxiety or can’t seem to move past difficult feelings of grief or loss. Perhaps you are noticing that a past trauma is blocking any real sense of knowing yourself, your purpose and the meaning of your life. Maybe you are a new mom who is struggling with coming into the identity of “mother” or you are a mother trying desperately to just feel “normal”.

I am here to help you work through deep rooted, and at times complex emotional difficulties so that you can be who you are made to be.

Your strengths.

I believe that you already possess a myriad of strengths that can be used in the healing process. You may not see them yet but through working together you will become aware of these strengths and will learn how to apply them in ways that help you to meet your goals.

The process.

I am here to guide you (the expert on your life) in processing hurt, in helping you make connections and ultimately in providing the space and encouragement needed to facilitate change. We ride the wave of therapy together and when needed, a gentle nudge and direct feedback will be given.

Our alliance.

The therapeutic relationship is one of the key factors that influence growth and change. We will take time to develop this relationship during our sessions and will combine the power of our alliance with various evidenced based therapeutic techniques for the best possible outcomes.
